Welcome to the ACTIVATE learning pathway.
This course has been designed to support artisans, craftspeople, self-employed professionals and small businesses in strengthening their capacity to adapt to the green and digital transition while preserving the quality and identity of their work.
Many professionals working in craft and small-scale production already apply sustainable principles and innovative practices in their daily activities, often without formally identifying them as such. At the same time, rapid technological and environmental changes require new competences, tools and ways of organising work.
The ACTIVATE learning experience provides a structured yet flexible approach helping you analyse your work processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, sustainability and digitalisation in a practical and realistic way.
The course does not require advanced technical knowledge and has been designed to be accessible to professionals with different levels of digital experience.
ACTIVATE uses a learning-by-doing methodology. The objective is not only to provide information, but to help you reflect on your own work and identify practical improvements that can be implemented gradually.
The learning pathway combines:
• short learning modules
• practical reflection tools
• examples adapted to artisan work contexts
• simple guidance on digital and sustainable practices
• flexible resources that can be used independently
You can follow the course at your own pace and focus on the areas most relevant to your professional activity.
The materials can be used both by individual professionals and by trainers, consultants and organisations working with artisans and small businesses.
The ACTIVATE Toolkit is a set of practical resources supporting the implementation of the roadmap for green and digital transition.
The toolkit includes:
micro-learning units
practical suggestions and examples
reflection questions
tools supporting decision-making
resources introducing sustainability and digital concepts in simple language
Each resource is connected to real work situations typical of artisan activities and small businesses.
The toolkit does not propose a single model to follow. Instead, it helps you identify solutions that fit your specific context, sector and professional objectives.
