You are about to join an international learning experience designed to connect young people from different cultures and realities through dialogue, reflection, and collaboration. This online programme is your starting point for the virtual youth exchanges ahead, helping you build the knowledge, skills, and confidence to engage in meaningful discussions with peers across Europe and beyond.

The “Building Bridges” project is built on the belief that today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders. To shape our interconnected world, you need tools to address global challenges like climate change, inequality, and the digital divide. By connecting diverse participants, this project helps you develop vital digital, intercultural, and critical thinking skills. Through eLearning and facilitated exchanges, you will gain a deeper understanding of—and actively contribute to—the European Youth Goals and Sustainable Development Goals.

What is this learning programme about?

The Building Bridges programme focuses on helping young people become active, informed, and engaged global citizens. Through a combination of short eLearning modules and live virtual exchanges, you will explore:

• European Youth Goals and how they relate to your own life and community
• Global challenges and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
• Intercultural understanding and dialogue
• Critical thinking, public speaking, and expressing your ideas with confidence
• Campaigning and civic engagement, especially in digital and international contexts

The eLearning modules give you a shared foundation so that, when you meet other young people online, you already have common concepts, language, and reflection tools to support open and respectful conversations.

How does eLearning connect to the virtual exchanges?

The eLearning modules are not just theoretical lessons — they are preparation for action.

• As you move through the modules, you will:
• Reflect on your own experiences, opinions, and values
• Learn how to listen actively and communicate across cultural differences
