How the Building Bridges Programme Works

Building Bridges combines self-paced eLearning with live virtual exchanges. The programme helps young people explore the 11 EU Youth Goals, develop intercultural communication skills and take part confidently in discussions with peers from different countries.

Follow these steps

1. Register on this platform. Visit the Courses section and register, so you can study the module linked to the EU Youth Goal covered in the next virtual exchange. You can work at your own pace through short learning content, reflection questions and practical examples.
2. Take the short test. Before joining the exchange, complete the quiz for the relevant module. The test confirms that you have reviewed the key content and are ready to participate. We will send you an email with further istructions closer to the event date. 
3. Receive access to the virtual room. If you pass the test, the link to join the live virtual exchange will be made available to you.
4. Join the exchange. Take part in a two-hour online session with young people from different countries. Each exchange focuses on one of the 11 EU Youth Goals and includes guided discussion and interactive activities.

Why do I need to register and take a test?

This process helps us ensure that participants arrive prepared and that the virtual sessions remain safe and well organised. You may be asked to register or confirm your participation more than once for safeguarding and access-management purposes.

Earn your final certificate

Completing all 11 quizzes is optional. Participants who successfully complete them all will receive a final certificate recognising their learning journey across the 11 EU Youth Goals.
